RNI party’s national council approves participation in government

Rabat, August 2, 2013 (MAP) The national council of the national rally of independents (RNI/opposition) approved by a majority of votes the principle of the party’s participation in the government. The RNI’s national council which held an extraordinary session, also decided to mandate the party’s president, Salaheddine Mezouar, to handle negotiations with the head of government on the party’s participation in the government. The Istiqlal party, a member of the government coalition, decided to withdraw from the government and some of its ministers presented their resignation that was accepted by HM King Mohammed VI on July 22.
