Rabat - The Crane Currency group, a leading banknote printer company, and Bank Al Maghrib (Morocco's central bank) concluded a strategic partnership in the field of banknotes printing for the international market.
According to a joint statement by the group and the bank on Wednesday, the draft agreement concerning this partnership was signed by Wali of the central bank Abdellatif Jouahri and president of the Crane Currency group Stephen P. DeFalco, in the presence of deputy chief of US mission in Morocco Matthew Lussenhop.
The partnership will enable the group to support the expansion of its paper money printing worldwide with the expertize of Dar As Sikkah, Bank Al Maghrib's printing unit, with is equipped with modern printing technology, it said.
