Rabat - Morocco's consumer prices grew 0.2 percent in the first nine months of 2014, compared to 2.2 pc during the same period last year, the Economy and Finance Ministry said.
This performance is particularly the result of a 1.5 percent decline of food prices compared to a 3 percent increase during the same period in 2013, the ministry noted in a note.
The prices of non-food products increased by 1.6 percent in Jan-Sep 2014, the same level as a year earlier, added the same source.
According to the forecasts of the Economy and Finance Ministry, Morocco' economy will grow by 3.5 percent this year compared to 4.4 percent in 2013 and 2.7 percent in 2012.
