Rabat - Paris and Rabat are called upon to step up their bilateral cooperation relations in the wake of the terrorist attack on the Bardo museum in Tunis, Christian Cambon President of the France-Morocco friendship group at the French Senate said on Friday in Rabat.
Speaking to the press following a meeting with Minister Delegate to the Foreign Minister Mbarka Bouaida, Cambon said that he discussed the latest development in the region, noting that the reforms led by Morocco open large prospects for strengthened cooperation notably in the security field.
Cambon also called for stepping up exchange between French and Moroccan institutions as well as their MPs.
For her part, Bouaida highlighted the importance of the agenda of the second session of the Inter-parliamentary forum, due on April 16-17 in Paris.
The meeting was also an opportunity for her to provide an overview on the latest development at the national and regional scene notably concerning the issue of Morocco’s territorial integrity.
