Rabat - Morocco condemned the appalling attack committed Thursday against believers in a mosque of the Saudi special forces' headquarters in the city of Abha, killing over 14 members of the security forces.
"Morocco flatly condemns the appalling and cowardly attack committed on Thursday against believers in a mosque of the Saudi special forces' headquarters in the city of Abha, killing over 14 members of the security forces which fulfill one of the most important human missions in the country," said the foreign affairs ministry in a statement.
While offering its heartfelt condolences to the sister nation of Saudi Arabia and the victims' families, the Kingdom of Morocco reiterates its full solidarity with this country, reaffirms permanent commitment by its side in fighting all acts and attempts threatening its security and stability and denounces this terrorist crime targeting peace and the Islamic religion, it said.
