Rabat - Morocco has clearly and flatly voiced its refusal of all Israeli attempts to judaize Al Quds, encourage colonization and undermine the Arab and Muslim identity of Al Quds Asharif, said on Wednesday Communication Minister, Government Spokesperson Mustapha El Khalfi.
El Khalfi, who was speaking at a press briefing after the weekly cabinet meeting in Rabat, under the chairmanship of Head of Government Abdelilah Benkirane, said that efforts are made, as part of common Arab action and the Arab League and in coordination with Islamic countries, in order to adopt firm positions concerning these maneuvers and propose practical initiatives to support the resistance of the Palestinian people and help them recover their legitimate rights.
The minister added that actions are regularly conducted as part of this coordination with the aim of taking joint decisions, recalling that Morocco has recently issued a clear statement regarding this matter. He said that the foreign ministry is striving, in conjunction with Arab and Islamic countries, to turn these positions into concrete and practical actions.
Answering a question on establishing a joint Arab force in Libya, the minister said there are talks going on about this idea at the level of the Arab League, noting that the League is the only body entitled to announce the decision that have been taken in this regard.
