Rabat - Moroccan police dismantled on 19-20 February a criminal network for drug trafficking and arrested nine people.
The main supplier of this criminal gang, who was wanted for theft, was arrested with three of his accomplices in Al-Kasbah neighborhood in Mohammedia, Moroccan police (DGSN) said in a statement, adding that investigations led to the arrest of the other suspects.
Police seized ten doses of cocaine, 12 amphetamine capsules and 44 psychotropic pills, in addition to two vehicles, the statement added.
Investigations are under way to arrest other involved people.
The suspects were placed in custody pending the completion of the investigation.
