Brussels - The European Union voiced satisfaction over the "particularly vibrant" relations with Morocco which is the EU's main partner in the southern neighborhood. "Relations between Morocco and the EU have been particularly vibrant in 2013", says the EU in its annual report on the implementation of its Neighborhood Policy (ENP) published on Thursday in Brussels. In the report on Morocco, the EU assesses the multiple reforms adopted by Morocco in 2013, noting that the year has been rich in achievements, particularly with the signing last June of a joint declaration on mobility partnership and the launching in March of negotiations for a deep and comprehensive free trade agreement (DCFTA). Morocco has "progressed well" in negotiations for this agreement that seeks to facilitate the Moroccan economy gradual integration into the EU market", the report says, citing among 2013 achievements, the signing in November of a new fisheries agreement between Morocco and the EU.
