Tetouan - King Mohammed VI received on Monday at the Royal Palace of Tetouan, Omar Hilale and entrusted him with the position of Ambassador, permanent representative of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United Nations Organization, says a release of the Royal office.
"The appointment of Mr. Omar Hilale, upon a proposal of the head of government and at the initiative of the minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, will become official at an upcoming ministers council," the release goes on.
Presently Ambassador, permanent representative of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United Nations office in Geneva.
Hilale had also served as secretary general of the ministry of foreign affairs and cooperation and held other diplomatic positions, the Royal Office release points out.
