MADRID - Spain welcomed Morocco's new migration policy meant to consolidate the protection of migrants and refugees rights in Morocco.
"The government of Spain welcomes the report titled +foreigners and human rights in Morocco, for a radically new immigration and asylum policy presented recently to King Mohammed VI," said a release of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, published on Wednesday.
The report "proposes a series of major legislative and administrative reforms meant to reinforce the protection of the rights of migrants and refugees and promote better economic and social integration for them in Morocco", the source went on.
The Spanish government also "reaffirmed its satisfaction over the excellent cooperation in migration matters, with the Kingdom of Morocco
