Rabat - Moroccan low-cost airline Air Arabia Maroc will begin operations of a new route between Fez and Toulouse, France starting on March 29, 2016.
According to a statement by the airline on November 30, the Fez-Toulouse route will be offered twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays onboard an Airbus A320.
Flights will depart Fez at 1:30 p.m. and arrive in Toulouse at 4:40 p.m. local time. The route from Toulouse to Fez will be scheduled from 11:35 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. local time, the statement revealed.
This will be Air Arabia’s second route connecting Morocco and Toulouse, since the airline has been serving the French city from Casablanca, where Air Arabia Maroc has its headquarters.
According to the CEO of Air Arabia Group the parent company of Air Arabia Maroc, Adel Ali, the new Fez-Toulouse route is “The result of a clear demand from our clients, whether a tourist, a business customer or those traveling for leisure.”
Air Arabia Maroc was launched in 2009 as a partnership between Air Arabia, Regional Air Lines and Ithmaar Bank.
The airline serves several cities in Morocco, including Beni Mellal, Casablanca, Errachidia, Fez, Khouribga, Marrakech, Nador and Tangier. In France, it serves Lyon, Montpellier, Pau and Toulouse.
Air Arabia flies to over 100 destinations worldwide within the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and Europe.
